The Program Manager oversees a portfolio of interrelated construction and infrastructure projects supporting edge data center deployments. This role ensures alignment between project execution and organizational strategic goals by guiding Project Managers, optimizing resources, and driving program‑level performance. The Program Manager serves as the primary stakeholder liaison and is responsible for ensuring program efficiency, compliance, and successful delivery of power, communications, and technology infrastructure across distributed edge data center environments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of projects supporting edge data center infrastructure deployments, including electrical systems, structured cabling, network infrastructure, physical security, and supporting facility upgrades.
  • Ensure program objectives, timelines, and execution strategies align with organizational priorities, client expectations, and applicable regulatory or contractual requirements.
  • Serve as the primary customer and stakeholder liaison, providing accurate, timely program‑level reporting and communication.
  • Coordinate across Project Managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client stakeholders to maintain execution consistency across multiple sites.
  • Monitor and manage program‑wide schedules, budgets, and scope to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Identify program‑level risks, monitor variances, and implement mitigation or recovery plans.
  • Lead program reviews, customer meetings, internal coordination calls, and status updates.
  • Develop and maintain tools to track program KPIs, performance metrics, and operational progress.
  • Forecast resource and staffing needs, balance workloads across teams, and manage subcontractor support as required.
  • Optimize systems, processes, and workflows to improve efficiency across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, design partners, and client stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support evolving program objectives.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of project or program management experience in data center, telecommunications, electrical, network infrastructure, or technology‑focused construction environments.
  • Experience supporting edge data center deployments, distributed infrastructure programs, or multi‑site technology rollouts.
  • Familiarity with construction execution in active or operating facilities.

and Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering edge data center or distributed technology infrastructure projects.
  • Working knowledge of electrical distribution, structured cabling, and network infrastructure.
  • Ability to review construction drawings and design documents using tools such as AutoCAD or Bluebeam.
  • Experience coordinating with owners, operators, and technology clients.
  • Familiarity with commissioning support, equipment turnover processes, and closeout documentation is a plus.

Direct / Indirect Supervisory Responsibility

  • Provides direction and alignment for Project Managers and cross‑functional teams to ensure program objectives are met.

Work Environment / Physical Demands / Travel Requirements

  • Office‑based environment with extended periods of computer work.
  • Full‑time role (40 hours per week) with occasional travel to edge data center sites and project locations.
