Azure Programme Manager - 12-Month FTC - London / Hybrid\n\n\nWe're looking for an experienced Azure Programme Manager to lead a major cloud migration for a global organisation based in London. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, working closely with the Head of IT to deliver a full end-to-end Azure transformation, from design sign-off through to go-live.\n\nIf you've successfully led a complex on-prem to Azure migration before and enjoy taking full ownership of delivery, this role offers a genuine opportunity to make an impact.\n\n\nThe Role\n\nYou'll take charge of a firm-wide programme moving their on-premise infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, helping modernise systems and set the foundation for long-term innovation and scalability.\n\nYou won't be expected to be hands-on technical - that's covered by a third-party partner - but you'll be the one making sure everything stays on track: budgets, milestones, dependencies, risk management, and stakeholder communication.\n\nYou'll work across multiple teams and suppliers, keeping everyone aligned while ensuring that delivery stays smooth, secure, and within scope. Regular updates to senior stakeholders will be part of the job, so being comfortable with visibility and accountability is key.\n\n\nWhat They're Looking For\n\nYou'll need to have:\n\nProven experience delivering a full end-to-end Azure migration, ideally in a complex, multi-site environment.\nSolid background in infrastructure and cloud programme management (£500k-£3m scale projects).\nExperience working with third-party vendors and managed service providers.\nStrong stakeholder management skills - able to explain the technical bits in plain .\nA good understanding of areas like data centres, networking, unified comms, Active Directory, and security applications.\nA project management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile, or similar) would be a bonus.\n\nLegal or professional services experience is helpful but not essential - they're open-minded if you've got the right delivery experience and approach.\n\nThe Setup\n\nYou'll report directly to the Head of IT and collaborate with a small, focused team alongside senior managers and an experienced external Azure partner.\n\nThe firm works on a hybrid model (around three days a week in the London office), and interviews will be a single face-to-face stage with the Head of IT and two senior managers.\n\nThey're ready to move quickly for the right person but can wait up to a month for a standout candidate.\n\nWhy It's a Great Fit\n\nThis isn't just about managing a project, it's about owning a pivotal transformation that will shape the firm's technology future.
