Project Director

Job Description

My client is a leading international contractor who are looking for an experienced Project Director to join their team in Frankfurt.

This role will take responsibility for a hyperscale data centre development and lead the delivery of one of Europe’s most high profile mission critical projects.

Duties will include:

• Taking full ownership of the data centre project from design through to completion
• Acting as the main point of contact for the client and key stakeholders
• Leading and mentoring large multidisciplinary project teams
• Managing programme delivery, cost control and quality assurance
• Coordinating CSA and MEP packages and subcontractors
• Chairing client meetings and ensuring regular progress reporting
• Identifying and managing risks to ensure project success
• Ensuring all statutory and health and safety requirements are met

Ideal candidate:

• Proven experience delivering large scale data centre or mission critical projects
• Background with a main contractor or major client side consultancy
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge across CSA and MEP disciplines
• Ability to work under pressure and drive complex projects to completion
• EU passport or right to work in Germany
