Following a major project win, we are seeking an elite Senior Project Manager to lead a landmark £230m Data Centre development in London. This is a high-profile role for a heavy-hitting construction professional capable of managing large-scale CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) and fit-out packages for a global blue-chip client.
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will be the operational lead for this flagship development. You will manage the project from inception to completion, ensuring your team delivers on time, within budget, and to the world-class standards of quality and safety required in the mission-critical sector.
Project Director Responsibilities
* Act as the primary lead on-site, managing a multidisciplinary team and ensuring the master construction programme meets all key milestones.
* Maintain high-level relationships with our blue-chip clients and stakeholders, providing transparent reporting on progress, risks, and commercial status.
* Implement and champion our industry-leading Safety System, fostering a "zero-harm" culture across a complex, fast-paced site.
* Work closely with the commercial and surveying teams to manage prelims, package costs, and project profitability.
* Serve as the technical authority on-site, coaching and developing the next of project talent.
Project Director Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in large-scale construction, with a significant focus on Data Centres or similar high-tech critical environments.
* A Third Level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams on projects valued at £100m+.
* Strong proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project/Primavera) and a deep understanding of structural and civil building work.
* A commercially astute, problem-solving professional who thrives in a stimulating, fast-paced environment.
