Project Engineer - Civil Construction

Job Description

Metric Geo are partnered with a leading site development contractor specializing in large scale mission-critical and commercial projects up to 100+ acres. They’re seeking a Project Engineer to strengthen their Project Management team and drive success on high-demand data center and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle site development projects (20–100+ acres) supporting mission-critical and large-scale data center programs.
• Oversee earthwork, utilities, foundations, paving, and infrastructure delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and manage detailed construction schedules, supervise crews and subcontractors, monitor progress, prepare reports and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing large-scale site development or infrastructure projects, ideally within data center, industrial, or technology-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of civil construction processes — including grading, drainage, utilities, concrete, and roadway systems.
• Ability to coordinate site permitting, inspections, and utility tie-ins with local jurisdictions and design teams.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple subcontractors and earthwork crews under tight schedules.
