We’re seeking a Project Engineer energized by complex, fast-moving, builder-driven projects. If you enjoy solving problems in real time, collaborating across disciplines, and seeing your designs come to life at scale, this role offers meaningful impact.
The Opportunity
As a Project Engineer supporting Data Center Design, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on the design and construction of large-scale data centers and their supporting structures. You will collaborate closely with builders, system designers, and consultants to develop structural solutions that evolve alongside project demands—often while construction is underway.
This role requires technical depth, adaptability, and strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure structure effectively supports process.
What You’ll Do
• Lead day-to-day structural design and documentation for data center buildings and supporting systems.
• Design primary building structures and extensive secondary systems, including cooling tower platforms, generator skids, interior mezzanines, and mechanical support framing.
• Respond efficiently to evolving design requirements, system updates, and field-driven changes.
• Partner with Project Managers and construction teams to align designs with fast-track schedules.
• Collaborate daily with engineers, designers, and BIM coordinators to resolve conflicts and adapt to changing conditions.
• Provide timely, high-quality responses during construction, including RFIs, coordination requests, and design adjustments.
• Maintain quality and constructability under compressed timelines.

Qualifications
• ABET-accredited degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering.
• EI/EIT or PE license (or ability to obtain).
• 5–10 years of structural design experience.
• Strong knowledge of steel design; experience with secondary or modular structures .
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing design priorities.
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship, now and in the future.
Experience
• Background in data centers, industrial, or highly coordinated design/build projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, RAM, or RISA.
• Familiarity with delegated design or fast-track construction workflows.

Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 annually
