About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer (Electrically Biased) to support the delivery of manufacturing projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with minimal guidance, taking ownership of tasks, while also contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical engineering aspects of projects, including design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, controls, and civil disciplines to ensure full project integration.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure technical and schedule requirements are met.
  • Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets; escalate risks or deviations as needed.
  • Prepare documentation such as risk assessments, method statements, and technical reports.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Participate in design reviews, site meetings, and commissioning activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement or cost reduction.

Additional Expectations

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or capital project environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with project documentation, commissioning processes, and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with CAD software or electrical design tools is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
