About The Role:
As Project Estimator, you will oversee the development of competitive bids, strategically plan and execute project scopes, and deliver effective solutions for our clients. Highly Motivated by turning project scopes into actionable items, with a pro-active mindset and enjoyment in problem-solving and coordinating projects. From small installs that last a few days or larger projects that last a few months, your experience in electrical systems will provide solutions for our client's needs. You are energized by forecasting costs and driving winning proposals. If you are passionate about strategic planning, and hands-on problem solving, this role offers a chance to make a real impact.
- Salary Range: $110k-$130k
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids for projects.
- Using your experience and intelligence to send out accurate and innovative estimates to customers
- Building relationships with suppliers
- Identifying information needed to build proper estimates.
- Obtaining pricing quotes for rental equipment.
- Supporting business operations with regards to billing rates as needed.
- Actively Completing Bid Packages. (Project Overview, Technical Specifications, Drawings, SOW, Material Lists, and Contract Terms).
Manage full project lifecycle; from buyout, schedules, contracts, RFIs, and change orders.
- Work closely with Project Team to ensure alignment between estimated cost and project execution.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate project documentation files including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Caring for and being honest with our clients throughout the entirety of the job process.
Drive projects for manufacturing facilities, biotech, labs, automation, and data center clients.
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineer, and structural engineers to coordinate project design requirements
- Support permitting process
- Communicate project updates to field leads, clients, and operations team.
- Working with co-workers and clients to build the best solution.
- Special Order Material procurement.
- Assist in safety and compliance documentation to ensure alignment with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company standards.
Build strong client relationships while leading teams to on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and timely updates on projects status
- Facilitate regular check-ins with clients to understand priorities, address concerns, and strengthen partnerships
- Uphold safety and quality standard while driving efficiency in execution
- Document and report project outcomes, highlighting success and areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Have a valid CA Driver’s license and be able to drive company vehicles.
- 3+ Years of Electrical Estimating experience for Commercial/Industrial projects.
