Role Overview

We are partnering with a high-growth, privately held engineering and construction platform that designs, builds, and delivers complex electrical and power infrastructure across the United States. The business is widely regarded as an industry leader due to its fully integrated delivery model, combining engineering, prefabrication, manufacturing, and construction under one roof. This approach enables consistent execution at scale and supports long-term, controlled growth across multiple US states.

The organization is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Project Executive to take full ownership of large, technically complex electrical programs typically ranging from $100M to $250M+. These programs span mission-critical facilities, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, transportation, and secure government environments.

This is not a traditional project management role. The position operates with end-to-end accountability, from early engagement and preconstruction through execution, turnover, and client continuity. Leaders in this role are expected to build strong teams, own client relationships, and contribute to the long-term growth of the business unit, not just deliver a single project.

  • Lead project strategy, execution approach, staffing plans, and delivery structure for complex, multi-phase work.
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for schedule, cost, risk, quality, and client outcomes.
  • Partner with internal engineering, procurement, prefabrication, and field teams to drive predictable execution.
  • Establish and manage project controls, including forecasting, progress tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Oversee material strategy, major equipment procurement, logistics planning, and field readiness.
  • Lead coordination with owners, general contractors, designers, inspectors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Build, develop, and retain high-performing project teams, including succession planning beneath you.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency, risk reduction, and continuous improvement across delivery.
  • Ensure disciplined closeout, including commissioning support, documentation, and client handover.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in Electrical Construction operations (Project Management, Preconstruction/Estimating and Engineering)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or Physics preferably from an ABET accredited program
  • Large Electrical Self-Perform Construction Project Management expertise (Multiple projects at $50M+) across either Data Centers, Power /Energy Infrastructure, Healthcare/Hospitals, Transportation/Aviation, Federal or Large Commercial projects with heavy MEP components.
  • Experience within critical power environments, and knowledge of redundancy, generators, switchgear, cooling and mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling method and General Contractor Schedules
  • Accubid Estimating (Or equivalent) directly related to Electrical Installations is . Primavera P6 CPM Scheduling
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively across multiple departments, including Design, Engineering, Preconstruction/Estimating, Prefabrication, Construction and Commissioning/Technical Teams.
  • Someone with a consistent desire for self improvement and challenge, to join and contribute to a high-performing environment.
