I’m working with a Top 50 UK firm that is looking to hire a Project Finance lawyer at 3+ PQE for its growing Energy & Infrastructure Finance team in Bristol.
\n
\n
This is an opportunity to work on complex and high-value transactions across some of the fastest-growing areas of the market, including renewables, energy transition, sustainable transport, data centres and strategic infrastructure.
\n
\n

A highly regarded UK firm with a strong reputation for its Energy, Infrastructure and Banking & Finance work.

The team advises lenders, sponsors, developers, investors and public sector bodies on sophisticated transactions across the energy and infrastructure markets.
\n
\n
The culture is collaborative and Partner-led, with lawyers given early responsibility, direct client exposure and plenty of support to develop their technical expertise and client relationships.

The Role
\n
\n
You’ll join an established Energy & Infrastructure Finance team working on a broad range of Project Finance transactions.
\n
\n
The work includes:
\n
• Project financings
\n
• Acquisition and asset financings
\n
• Refinancing operational projects
\n
• Portfolio and fund financings
\n
• Cross-border energy and infrastructure projects
\n
\n
You’ll work with lenders, sponsors, developers and investors on projects across areas including:
\n
• Solar
\n
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
\n
• Wind
\n
• Energy from waste
\n
• Hydrogen and sustainable fuels
\n
• Energy transition
\n
• Sustainable transport
\n
• Data centres
\n
• Defence and strategic infrastructure
\n
\n
There is also significant collaboration with Corporate, Real Estate, Construction, Planning and Regulatory teams, giving you a genuinely integrated view of the projects you’re working on.
\n
\n
The role offers direct client exposure from the outset, with the opportunity to take ownership of matters, build relationships and develop a particular specialism within Energy & Infrastructure Finance.
\n
\n
What they’re looking for

• 3+ PQE with experience in Project Finance
\n
• Experience acting for lenders and/or borrowers
\n
• Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
\n
• Genuine interest in Energy, Infrastructure and/or the energy transition
\n
• Commercial approach and strong client skills
\n
• Collaborative and proactive mindset
\n
• Someone keen to develop a long-term specialism in Project Finance
\n
