Project Finance Lawyers (5+ PQE) | Elite International Platform | London

MAP Legal is partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit experienced Project Finance Lawyers (5+ years’ PQE) to join its highly regarded Energy and Infrastructure team.

This is an opportunity to work within a globally recognised practice advising on complex, high-value project financings across multiple jurisdictions.

The team advises sponsors, lenders, development finance institutions and institutional investors on sophisticated cross-border transactions spanning:

  • Renewable energy, including solar, wind and energy storage
  • Conventional power and broader energy transition assets
  • Transport and social infrastructure
  • Digital infrastructure and telecommunications
  • Natural resources and industrial developments

The practice is consistently instructed on innovative and large-scale financings, often involving complex structuring and multi-jurisdictional coordination.

The role will involve:

  • Advising on limited and non-recourse project financings
  • Drafting and negotiating finance documentation and related project agreements
  • Managing cross-border workstreams and transaction processes
  • Engaging directly with major banks, sponsors and investors
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to business development

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ PQE with strong project finance experience gained at a leading international or top-tier domestic firm
  • Experience working on cross-border energy or infrastructure transactions
  • Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
  • The confidence to operate within a high-performing, international team
