Role Overview: 

Comp-Utility is seeking an entrepreneurial leader to oversee the successful execution of client projects. This high-impact role will be responsible for directing all phases of project delivery, including quoting and scheduling, product procurement and logistics, budget management, and on-time execution.

As a strategic hire within a growing organization, this individual will partner closely with Company management to expand existing service offerings and assist with growing Comp-Utility’s service fleet.

Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the mission critical industry, including the labor, materials, and technical standards required to meet and exceed  customer expectations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, Texas. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and vendor management to ensure successful project execution in line with project schedule and budget.
  • Maintain accountability for project financial performance; proactively identify potential cost overruns and implement mitigation strategies to preserve project margins.
  • Support business development efforts by collaborating with customers to define project scope, technical requirements, and execution plans.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to determine specific customer requirements.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into clear scopes of work, proposals, and execution plans.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment and driving relentless growth. 
  • Familiarity with power and cooling equipment widely used across data centers and other mission-critical environments.
