Overview
Perreca Electric Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to prepare estimates, provide preconstruction services, and manage electrical construction projects from award through final close-out for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects throughout the Hudson Valley.
The ideal candidate will be capable of managing project costs, schedules, field operations, and client relationships while coordinating with clients, engineers, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities – Preconstruction & Estimating
· Prepare electrical budgets and estimates for new opportunities
· Perform takeoffs, scope reviews, and value engineering
· Work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing
· Support bid submissions and preconstruction deliverables
· Participate in design coordination with clients, engineers, and design teams
· Assist with budgeting, planning, and preconstruction services for design-build/assist and negotiated projects
Responsibilities – Project Management
· Manage electrical construction projects from $5M to $30M+
· Transition from estimating into full project management upon award
· Lead coordination with General Contractors, clients, engineers, other trades, and vendors
· Oversee schedules, manpower planning, procurement, and logistics
· Manage submittals, RFIs, ASIs, change directives, and design updates
· Support field supervisors to maintain productivity, quality, and safety
· Champion Perreca’s safety culture on every project
· Conduct project meetings and maintain project documentation
Responsibilities – Financial & Contract Administration
· Build and track project budgets and cost-to-complete updates
· Identify, price, and negotiate change orders
· Manage billing, invoicing, and project financial reporting
· Oversee punch lists, as-builts, O&M manuals, and project close-out documentation
Qualifications
· 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience
· Experience managing commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical construction projects valued at $5M–$30M+
· Experience managing union labor and field manpower
· Strong ability to read electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
· Experience preparing budgets and estimates
· Experience with preconstruction budgeting, design coordination, and design-build project delivery
· Strong communication and client relationship skills
· Working for an Electrical Contractor Experience
Technical Requirements
· Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and Project
· Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
· Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
· Proficiency in ConEst or similar estimating software
· Revit experience is a plus

Additional Requirements
· Ability to report to Perreca’s main office in Newburgh, NY and travel to project sites throughout the Hudson Valley as required
