Job DescriptionProject Manager Opportunity - Leading M&E Contractor - Glasgow We are working with a leading M&E contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of projects across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The business has an excellent reputation within the commercial fit-out and data centre sectors and, following a number of recent project wins in Scotland, is looking to strengthen its regional delivery team. This is a varied Project Manager position overseeing projects ranging from £100k through to £5m, with responsibility across mechanical, electrical, fit-out and associated civil packages. The Role * Manage M&E and associated construction projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. * Oversee projects ranging in value from approximately £100k to £5m. * Coordinate mechanical, electrical, fit-out and civil work packages. * Manage site teams, subcontractors and specialist suppliers. * Take responsibility for programme, quality, health & safety and commercial performance. * Work closely with clients, consultants and internal project teams. * Manage procurement and ensure materials and subcontract packages are delivered in line with programme. * Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing solutions. * Chair and attend client, subcontractor and internal progress meetings. * Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements. * Manage commissioning, snagging and handover activities. * Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business. Candidate Requirements * Previous experience as a Project Manager, M&E Project Manager, Building Services Project Manager or Contracts Manager. * Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services. * Experience delivering commercial fit-out, data centre or similar technically demanding projects. * An understanding of fit-out and associated civil packages would be highly advantageous. * Experience managing multiple smaller projects or individual schemes up to approximately £5m. * Strong subcontractor and site management experience. * Good commercial awareness and understanding of project programmes. * Confident communicating with clients, consultants and senior stakeholders. * Ability to take ownership of projects and manage them through the full delivery lifecycle.
