Sterling Engineering is looking for experienced Project Managers to join a well-established construction organization specializing in commercial, industrial, and data center projects. This is a high-impact role with ownership over project performance from start to finish.
Job Duties:

  • Manage all phases of commercial/industrial and data center projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Create detailed work plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
  • Lead project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain safety, quality, and performance goals.
  • Serve as primary client liaison, facilitating communication and resolving issues.
  • Oversee contracts, change orders, and procurement processes.
  • Manage financial performance, including invoicing, cost tracking, and profitability analysis.
  • Review construction drawings, identify risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management for construction (mission-critical projects a plus).
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Primavera, Accubid, and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of construction means/methods, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
