Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Employment: Full-time, Exempt

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with strong commercial general contracting experience to oversee a large-scale data center project. While data center experience is not required, candidates must bring a proven track record managing vertical commercial construction projects with reputable GCs. The right individual will have extensive project lists that demonstrate success in delivering complex builds across industries such as industrial, office, medical, hospitality, retail, education, and other large-scale commercial sectors.

Residential or small-scale experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project execution, from preconstruction through close-out.

• Develop and manage project schedules (CPM or equivalent) to ensure timely delivery.

• Oversee project budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting.

• Conduct subcontractor scope reviews and negotiate thorough subcontract agreements.

• Drive communication with owners, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and performance.

• Manage change orders, billings, and project documentation with accuracy and timeliness.

• Enforce company policies, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.

• Regularly visit job sites to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.

• Support procurement, estimating, and preconstruction efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager with a Commercial General Contractor.

• Demonstrated success managing ground-up vertical commercial projects (industrial, office, healthcare, education, hospitality, large tenant improvements, etc.).

• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Timberline, Microsoft Office, P6 or equivalent).

• Strong ability to manage budgets, contracts, and schedules.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering results.
