We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician with strong Mechanical and Electrical Operations experience to support day-to-day data center operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, inspections, vendor management, and work order execution within a data center environment.

Training Schedule

  • Initial training will be conducted Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for the first two weeks
  • Availability during this training period is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily rounds and reads inspections
  • Execute preventive maintenance activities on critical infrastructure
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical and electrical systems
  • Escort and oversee third-party vendors during on-site work
  • Manage and close work orders accurately and timely
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate equipment or system issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
  • Maintain detailed documentation and operational logs

Required Experience

  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in a Data Center environment
  • Prior hands-on experience in Mechanical and Electrical Operations

Education

  • Completed Trade School Program (Electrical, HVAC, or related field)

Systems & Software Proficiency

  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge of facility or asset management applications

Certifications ()

  • Certified Electrician and/or HVAC Technician

  • Proven Data Center experience (Mechanical/Electrical Ops focus)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a critical operations environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Ability to mentor and share knowledge with junior technicians
  • Multi-skilled background in both Electrical and HVAC systems
