Role Description 

This is a full-time Project Manager position responsible for leading and coordinating physical security design projects from initiation through closeout. The Project Manager will serve as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to BCG's high-quality standards. This role requires a proactive, organized professional who can manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, remote work environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own end-to-end project management for physical security design engagements, including scope definition, scheduling, resource coordination, and delivery. 
  • Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact, managing relationships and communications with stakeholders across large-scale infrastructure programs. 
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and status reports, proactively identifying and resolving risks and issues. 
  • Lead project meetings, facilitate coordination between engineering, design, and support teams, and ensure action items are tracked to completion. 
  • Manage RFI and Submittal processes in collaboration with the security design team, ensuring timely and accurate responses. 
  • Manage RFP and Change Order processes in collaboration with the Finance & Accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate responses. 
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, records, and data in project management systems. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BCG's project management processes, tools, and standards. 
  • Mentor and provide guidance to project support staff as the team grows. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered. 
  • 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in physical security, data center, construction, or critical infrastructure environments. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines. 
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to clients and senior stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management platforms. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment. 

 

Qualifications 

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential. 
  • Experience in physical security system design, data center construction, or critical infrastructure projects. 
  • Familiarity with Revit, CAD, or BIM workflows and their role in design-phase project coordination. 
  • Knowledge of document control systems and RFI/submittal management processes. 
  • Experience supporting hyperscaler or large-scale technology infrastructure clients.
