SLS Consultants is a turnkey owner's representative managing some of the most complicated and interesting real estate and construction projects nationwide. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be directly responsible for the planning, management, and execution of a large-scale data center fit-out program for a confidential enterprise client in the Chicago market.

About the Role
\n
This role supports a white box data hall fit-out program, with rollouts of approximately 8 megawatts occurring on a two-month cadence. We're looking for a Project Manager with hands-on hyperscale or colocation data center experience — this can be an intermediate-level candidate, not necessarily a senior hire, but data center exposure specifically is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Support on-site project management for a white box data hall fit-out program in Franklin Park, IL
- Assist in coordination of project activities conducted by GCs and trades across sequential data hall rollouts
- Attend or run OAC meetings representing ownership's interest
- Coordinate design changes with owners, architects, and contractors
- Support change management review and processing, including change orders
- Monitor GC performance and contract compliance
- Assist with schedule tracking and risk/impact analysis of change directives
- Review and support monthly GC billings and project status reporting
- Support FFE/OFCI/OFE coordination and delivery tracking
- Provide regular status reporting to leadership

Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Hyperscale or colocation data center experience is required (intermediate-level candidates welcome)
- 3+ years in project management within real estate development, construction, or design
- Working knowledge of data hall infrastructure and fit-out/rollout sequencing
- Familiar with project management tools, project accounting, and construction drawings
- Bachelor's Degree
- Eligible for immediate employment in the United States
- Willingness to work on-site full-time in Franklin Park, IL

Preferred Qualifications

- PMP certification or equivalent
- Experience with MEP coordination in critical facility environments

Compensation
