Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and support data center buildout projects from the OEM perspective of an electrical equipment manufacturer. This role requires strong technical knowledge of large-scale data center infrastructure, coupled with the ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and client expectations. The PM will serve as the primary liaison between our organization, general contractors, trade partners, and hyperscale clients, ensuring the successful delivery of electrical equipment solutions that power mission-critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project lifecycle for data center buildouts, focusing on the delivery and integration of OEM-manufactured electrical equipment (switchgear, UPS systems, generators, busways, etc.).
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to align production schedules with project timelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and subcontractors regarding OEM equipment deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Oversee logistics, delivery, and on-site installation support of OEM equipment.
  • Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and conflicts to maintain project milestones.
  • Partner with sales and account teams to support client relationships and future opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field ().
  • 5+ years of project management experience in data center construction, electrical equipment manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and OEM equipment used in hyperscale and enterprise data centers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects with GCs, EPCs, and trade partners.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential .
