Position Summary

Full Time / In Office / Imperial, PA

The Project Manager (Manufacturing/Modular Construction) is responsible for managing modular electrical skid projects from initial customer engagement through final delivery. This role combines estimating, project management, and customer-facing responsibilities to develop project budgets, prepare proposals, coordinate engineering and manufacturing activities, and ensure successful execution of modular projects.

The ideal candidate understands electrical construction, manufacturing, and prefabrication principles and can independently develop pricing, manage schedules, and serve as the primary point of contact Throughout the project lifecycle. 

*Occasional overnight travel to project site may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the customer experience and project outcome while leveraging Beacon's established systems and processes.
  • Review customer drawings, specifications, and conceptual requirements.
  • Contribute to conceptual, budgetary, and final project estimates. 
  • Participate in customer meetings during project development. 
  • Manage projects from award through delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, quality, and logistics activities.
  • Lead internal project kickoff meetings.
  • Monitor project budgets, labor performance, material costs, and profitability.
  • Manage project risks, changes, and customer communications.
  • Coordinate material releases and procurement timing. 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, prefabrication, manufacturing, modular construction, or industrial projects.
  • Understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking software.

Qualifications:

  • Estimating experience within electrical, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with modular skids, data centers, power distribution systems, or industrial facilities.
  • Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience.
