Mechanical Project Manager\n\nLocation: Manchester & North West\nRate: Up to £350 per day (DOE)\nContract: Temp-to-Perm\nStart: ASAP\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading specialist contractor delivering mechanical building services and fire protection projects across the UK.\n\nWorking across commercial, industrial and public sector projects, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical installations from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. You'll manage programmes, subcontractors, client relationships and project budgets, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.\n\nReporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring programme targets, commercial objectives and quality standards are achieved. You'll work closely with clients, consultants, design teams and site personnel while leading projects through every stage of the construction process.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManage mechanical building services projects from award through to final handover.\n\nLead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple live projects.\n\nDevelop and manage project programmes, resources and labour requirements.\n\nMonitor project costs, variations and commercial performance.\n\nChair client, consultant and subcontractor meetings.\n\nReview technical drawings, specifications and design information.\n\nCoordinate procurement of mechanical materials, plant and equipment.\n\nEnsure quality assurance procedures are followed throughout the project.\n\nManage commissioning activities and client handovers.\n\nProduce regular progress reports and maintain project documentation.\n\nEnsure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.\n\nRequirements\nPrevious experience as a Mechanical Project Manager delivering commercial or industrial projects.\n\nStrong background in Mechanical Building Services.\n\nExperience managing HVAC, commercial plumbing, pipework, public health or fire protection installations.\n\nGood understanding of construction programmes, project planning and resource management.\n\nExperience managing subcontractors, site teams and client relationships.\n\nAbility to interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.\n\nStrong organisational, commercial and communication skills.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office.\n\nQualifications\nSMSTS.\n\nCSCS Black Card and/or NVQ Level 6.\n\nFull UK Driving Licence.\n\nDesirable\nExperience delivering MOJ, MOD, healthcare or data centre projects.\n\nIOSH Managing Safely.\n\nFirst Aid at Work.\n\nSecurity-cleared project experience.\n\nExperience with sprinkler or water mist fire protection systems.\n\nWhat's On Offer?\nUp to £350 per day, depending on experience.\n\nTemp-to-perm opportunity.\n\nIT equipment provided.\n\nOngoing training and career progression.\n\nOpportunity to work on high-profile mechanical projects across the UK.\n\nImmediate start available.\n\nDue to the nature of the projects, successful applicants will be required to undergo BPSS and EL1 Security Clearance.\n\nif interested apply now or call Ashleigh on (phone number removed)
