Project Manager – Mission Critical, Electrical

Salary- $180,000 - $250,000

  • Be a legacy client manager for our long-term Master Service Agreements.
  • Lead a Design-Build or CM@Risk team to develop projects and lead them from pursuit to closeout
  • Teach, coach, and mentor staff on best practices and procedures, client interactions, soft skills, etc.
  • Interact with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite the project
  • Assist with business development duties to help generate opportunities
  • Assist with estimating department during preconstruction and during bidding phases
  • Review project estimates with operations team (field and office) to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Manage and direct a team on awarded projects for electrical equipment, including working knowledge of electrical system design & installation. Equipment includes: Transformers, Switchgear, Switchboards, Distribution Systems, Data Floors, Power Distribution Units, Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS), Motor Control Centers, Automatic Transfer Switches, Generators, Rotating Equipment and AC Drives.
  • Manages & maintains all assigned projects, takes ownership and responsibility for meeting customer expectations according to all contract requirements.

Education:

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience in mission critical facilities – data centers, electrical and telecom
  • High level understanding of MEP and Fiber Network Systems
  • Detailed understanding of project accounting and P&L statements
