Project Manager / QA-QC Lead

Critical Management Solutions (CMS) is a leading provider of project management, construction management, safety, QA/QC, and commissioning support services specializing in mission-critical data center construction.

We are currently seeking a strong Project Manager / QA-QC Lead to support active and upcoming data center construction projects across the country. This role is best suited for a construction professional with proven project management and field leadership experience who has incorporated QA/QC into their overall project responsibilities.

This is not strictly a documentation or inspection role. We are looking for someone who can lead, coordinate, communicate, and manage quality as part of the overall project execution process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC efforts as part of overall project management and field execution
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and project teams
• Review construction documents, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and quality requirements
• Support field inspections, deficiency tracking, punch list management, and corrective action follow-up
• Help ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
• Participate in project meetings and communicate quality-related issues clearly and professionally
• Support schedule coordination, documentation, reporting, and turnover readiness
• Identify potential risks, field conflicts, and quality concerns before they impact the project
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture across the project team

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience with hands-on exposure to QA/QC responsibilities. We are looking for someone who has led teams, managed construction coordination, and understands how quality fits into the larger project delivery process.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction
• Strong project management, field coordination, or construction management background
• QA/QC experience as part of broader project responsibilities
• Ability to lead, communicate, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, punch lists, and project documentation
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field execution, and quality verification
• Data center experience but not required
• Procore, Bluebeam, P6, or similar construction software experience is a plus
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and professional communication
• Willingness to travel for select project opportunities
