JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Developing and maintaining Construction / Equipment Installation Project Schedules using information gained through Project Managers, project documents, reporting data, and observations of tooling construction & builds
- Using Primavera P6 software to create large Manufacturing Equipment Installation Schedules
- Responsible for managing and populating preliminary & working project schedules with Project Managers using Primavera P6
- Obtain time-sensitive information from key team members regarding the execution of support plans, logistics coordination, changes in scope, and schedule impacts, among other relevant details
- Implement subcontractor activities/milestones into master schedules and manage the criteria and methods for the exchange of schedule-related information
- Obtain, update, and report the project status to various site teams and customers using Primavera P5 scheduling software
- Adjust schedules to reflect valuable and concise information specific to the tooling builds
- Assist Sr. Project Manager in developing a standard schedule management system
REQUIREMENTS:
- Min 5 years of Project Scheduling Experience as a main responsibility on your assignment
- Min 3 years of using Primavera P6 Software
- Ability to create Primavera P6 Schedules from scratch, knowledge of schedule logic and precedence
- Previous Experience in Construction, or Automotive, or Manufacturing, or Data Centers Industry, scheduling experience is required
- A College Degree is highly desired but not required
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Great communication skills are a must; will interact with clients, engineering, field teams, and suppliers
- Ability to identify & analyze critical path activities
- Experience reading and understanding blueprints and mechanical drawings is a big plus
- Ability to work OT
- Must be able to travel as required to participate in Construction Projects
