Pump Field Service Engineer

This role requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently and professionally with clients and colleagues.

* Carrying out PPM visits and remedial/repair works

* Full mechanical and electrical installations (pipework, valves, pumps, controls)

* Commissioning of new systems

* Attending reactive and breakdown maintenance

* Loading/unloading plant and equipment at head office and on site

* Scheduled call-out rota duties

* Managing parts and spares in company van

* Adhering to company and client site health and safety procedures

* Attending occasional engineers’ meetings

Requirements

* Proven experience as a service or maintenance engineer/technician, ideally with pump systems

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for fault finding

* Multi-skilled in both mechanical and electrical engineering

* Full and valid driving licence (essential)

* Flexibility to work occasional nights away and participate in call-out rota

* Professional communication skills with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
