Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchasing Agent role based in Gilbert, AZ. The Purchasing Agent is responsible for processing and managing purchase orders, ensuring materials, equipment, and services are sourced accurately and delivered on schedule to support project and operational needs. Daily activities include reviewing requisitions, obtaining and evaluating vendor quotes, negotiating pricing and terms, and maintaining accurate purchasing records in company systems. The role coordinates closely with project managers, warehouse staff, accounting, and vendors to resolve order issues, track deliveries, and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements. The Purchasing Agent also monitors inventory levels, supports cost-saving initiatives, and provides responsive, professional customer service to internal stakeholders and external suppliers.\n

  • Demonstrated experience with purchasing and procurement processes, including creating and managing purchase orders.

  • Skills in contract negotiation and vendor management to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service levels.

  • Strong customer service abilities to support internal teams and maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with ERP or purchasing systems, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis for tracking and reporting.
  • \n

  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
  • \n

  • Understanding of technology infrastructure or construction-related materials is beneficial.
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in supply chain, business, or related fields are a plus.
