QA/QC Manager – Electrical Construction (Mission Critical) \uD83C\uDFD7️ Projects: Large-Scale Data Center / Mission Critical Facilities Why This Role MattersQuality isn’t an afterthought here, it’s the backbone of how we build. As our QA/QC Manager, you’ll own the quality program for complex, high-stakes electrical construction projects where precision, safety, and accountability are non-negotiable. You’ll partner closely with project teams, field leadership, and BIM to ensure every system we install meets spec, code, and client expectations—every time. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Own the QA/QC program from start to finishDevelop, implement, and continuously improve project-specific QA/QC plans for large-scale, mission-critical data center projectsEstablish quality objectives, inspection criteria, and performance metrics in partnership with Project Managers and field leadership Be the eyes on the workConduct regular inspections and audits of:Electrical installationsLife Safety systemsSpecial systemsMedium Voltage systemsEquipment and materialsVerify compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and industry standards Drive coordination and documentationCoordinate closely with the BIM Manager on conduit routing and system coordinationMaintain daily QC documentation and accurate as-built recordsReview drawings, plans, and specifications to proactively identify quality risks and recommend corrective actions Lead issue resolutionInvestigate non-conformances, deficiencies, and customer concernsDevelop and track corrective and preventative action plansMaintain detailed inspection reports, test records, and NCR documentation Control submittals, RFIs, and close-outReview and verify all submittals and RFIs for QC complianceLead punch-list inspections and follow-up to ensure timely completionPrepare and manage close-out documentation, including:O&M manualsAs-built drawingsWarrantiesLEED documentation (when applicable) Improve how we buildMonitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends and opportunitiesConduct supplier evaluations and quality auditsOversee calibration and maintenance of electrical testing equipmentStay current on code updates, technology, and best practicesAlways lead with safety—no exceptions What You Bring: Technical ExpertiseStrong working knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation methodsDeep understanding of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NFPA)Experience with:BAS / BMS / EPMS controlsFire Alarm Systems (NFPA 72)Mass Notification / Communication Systems (NFPA 72)BICSI TDMM (Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual)Hands-on knowledge of electrical testing equipment and inspection techniques Leadership & JudgmentProven ability to build and manage QA/QC programs on complex construction projectsStrong analytical and risk-assessment skillsHigh integrity and sound judgment when working with internal teams, clients, and inspectorsComfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments Tools & Technology (, Not Required)ProcoreNavisworksBIM 360Quality management software and reporting tools What Success Looks LikeQA/QC programs that prevent issues—not just react to themClear, accurate documentation that stands up to audits and client reviewStrong collaboration across project teamsConsistent delivery of high-quality electrical systems in mission-critical environments Experience & CredentialsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent industry experience5+ years of QA/QC experience within the electrical contracting industryJourneyman Electrician license ()Master Electrician license (a plus)NICET certification (a plus)BICSI certification (a plus)OSHA 10 / 30 / 500 (a plus)Demonstrated experience supporting Mission Critical / Data Center facilities Additional DetailsWillingness and ability to travel to active job sites as required  Benefits
