Quality Assurance Manager III, Device Content and Advertisement

This position is for a Quality Assurance Manager leading the Device Content & Advertisement QA team working on products used by advertisers to deliver Ads to different devices like Fire TV, Tablets, and more. Our customers use hundreds of millions of devices every day, including tens of millions of FireTV devices. Are you ready to lead a team that will help us get to the next level?
We are building next Video, Display, and Alexa Advertisement experiences and infrastructure, which include content from several providers across categories including News, Music Videos, Trailers, Sports, Entertainment, Lifestyle, and Cooking. You will lead a team that drives our new customer interactions with our popular and growing entertainment platform. In this role, you will influence key engineering and business decisions that impact Amazon's long-term vision, which includes rapid expansion and innovation in media and non-media entertainment delivery.

Key job responsibilities
As a QA Manager on the Device Content & Advertisement team, you will:

Lead a team of QA Engineers to champion quality across our development pipeline
Develop and implement quality strategies, standards, and best practices
Establish quality metrics and KPIs to measure and improve product quality
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and TPM leadership to ensure quality is built into the development process
Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, including automation frameworks
Mentor and develop QA Engineers to grow their technical and leadership skills
Manage resource allocation across multiple projects and priorities
Build relationships with QA teams across regions, including our US-based team
Identify and mitigate quality risks before they impact customers
Report quality status to senior leadership and stakeholders

A day in the life
Your day would include leading team stand-ups, reviewing test strategies, and participating in cross-functional planning meetings. You'll work with PMs, TPMs, and developers to clarify requirements, lead bug triage sessions, and prioritize quality efforts. You'll coach your team on test approaches and automation strategies while tracking progress across multiple workstreams. You'll also collaborate with QA leadership in the US, coordinating efforts across time zones and providing knowledge sharing sessions to ensure consistent quality practices.
