Position Summary: Quality Compliance Engineering – 2026 Summer Program
Location: Hamden, CT
Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM’s globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Quality Compliance Engineering to join our team. The position will be located in Hamden, CT.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Compliance Engineer will support one Quality Manager and Quality Compliance Engineer.
What you'll do:
Gain Experience and/or work on:
- ISO 9001:2015 tasks – the world’s leading Quality Management System (QMS) and governing standard
- Use a leading eQMS software platform to update our QMS
- Populate and help create structure for our QMS
- Write and Re-write documents that help support our QMS
- Process Mapping and Work Flow Diagrams (likely with MS Visio)
- Help design and build Quality and QMS training
- Help support the rest of the Quality staff
- Coordination with relating groups:
- Program Management, Process/Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Development Engineering, and Testing
QUALIFICATIONS:
A strong candidate will have completed their freshman, sophomore, or junior year in quality engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering, or a graduate level student studying engineering, and with a possible interest in Quality utilized to support manufacturing, or business-related fields.
- Demonstrated computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Experience with PDF editing and VISIO is a plus
- Verbal and written communication skills
