Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent or at least two years of experience in materials
  • 1-3 years of required work experience
  • MD DOT Aggregate Technician Certificate or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • Mine Safety and Health Administration Certificate (MSHA) or ability to obtain in 6 months
  • Two years of post-secondary technical education or equivalent in experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control tests for the specific product line
  • Observe and enforce all Safety Standards, Advisories, and Policies
  • Assist with the development and documentation of material control plans
  • Perform service, repair, and calibration of laboratory and field testing equipment
  • Provide troubleshooting guidance and advice for various customers
