Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Two years of post-secondary technical education or course work in Sciences
  • At least two years of experience as materials Q.C. Laboratory Technician
  • Computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Google applications
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs over uneven ground

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control tests on materials using ASTM and AASHTO standards
  • Carries out ongoing lab and field sampling
  • Conducts in depth problem-solving and detailed data analyses
  • Assist with the documentation of material control plans
  • Carries out regular updates to Quality Control and Quality Assurance databases
