Location: Frankfurt, Germany (travel to project sites as required)

Salary: Up to €75,000 per annum

Role Overview

The Quality Technical Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless implementation and delivery of complex construction and engineering projects. This position is instrumental in developing and supporting comprehensive quality control programs that verify and validate project works against defined standards and client requirements.

Working closely with project and construction management teams, the Quality Technical Coordinator ensures a “Right First Time” approach across all project phases — embedding precision, compliance, and excellence into every stage of delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of robust quality control programs across all project stages.
  • Verify and validate the quality of works completed by contractors, suppliers, and internal teams against project specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and evaluations of initial installations and construction activities, ensuring compliance with agreed standards.
  • Lead discussions with clients to establish and document benchmark performance and quality criteria.
  • Identify and coordinate the resolution of quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions where necessary.
  • Monitor contractor performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and building codes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, reporting, and quality assurance records throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Competencies

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and control methodologies, including inspection and test planning.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and the interdependencies between quality and project success.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and quality enhancement within construction or EPC environments.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and promoting a culture of quality.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
  • Proficiency in using digital quality management tools and project documentation systems.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory compliance and international quality standards.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Significant experience within the construction or engineering industry, with a focus on quality control, inspection, and materials verification.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Fluent in English; German skills are highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across Germany and Europe as required.
