\nOur Connectors operation in Leeds, AL is looking for a Quality Technician that wants to grow with us as we continue to grow! In this role you will be responsible for day to day operations in the metallurgical lab in support of three foundries. Duties to include, sample testing and recording of metal chemistries, sand testing and other metrology duties as required.\n

A Day In The Life\n

\nEvery day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: \n

  • Receive and prepare metal samples for metallographic analysis on the spectrometer
  • \n

  • Collection of sand test as well as completing necessary testing and record keeping
  • \n

  • Use of calibrated measurement devices, both manual and automated.
  • \n

  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • \n

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • \n

  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • \n

  • High School Diploma

  • Relevant Quality Certification

  • Prior experience as a Quality Technician
  • \n

  • Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts (required)

  • Experience drafting reports and collecting data (required)

  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical information
  • \n
