Our client has an exciting new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor their team in the UK. This position will be based in their Stockport office supporting a number of Energy, Power & Renewable projects - including sites in the North West.\n\nThey are a leading international provider of innovative Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Solutions. They are also working continuously to promote a culture of positive wellbeing through their wellbeing programmes and supports to employees and their families through their Employee Assistance Programme and the Lighthouse Club.  \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManagement and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project.\nResponsibility for interface Client Commercial/Contract Team.\nProject Procurement including Sub-contractors.\nConduct cost and risk analysis.\nReview all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team and /or subcontractors, to identify contractually critical items and to initiate replies.\nManage commercial aspects of subcontractors.\nProvide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.\nManage project change order procedures and agree costs with client.\nKnowledge, Skills & Experience\n\nSuitable Candidates must have a 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 18 months experience working as a Surveyor.\n\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nPrevious experience working in the electrical/mechanical field.\nAbility to prioritise workload according to deadlines together with a high attention to detail.\nAbility to influence colleagues at all levels.\nEnjoy working as part of a high performing team.\n       Why Work with Them\n\n23 days annual leave\nCompany Pension contributions, Life and cover\nPrivate Health Insurance contribution\nEducational Assistance, CPD, Chartership supports and upskilling opportunities\nOpportunities for international assignments to work on one of their European projects in Sweden, Denmark, or Germany
