A leading global property and construction consultancy is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic cost management team.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work on major developments across the UK and internationally, including data centres, commercial builds, sports facilities, and large-scale residential projects.\n\nThe Quantity Surveyor Role\n\nThe successful Quantity Surveyor will join a well-established consultancy that delivers expert cost, procurement and commercial advice to a broad range of high-profile clients.\n\nAs a key Quantity Surveyor in the team, you will be responsible for the cost and commercial performance of multiple projects ranging from £5m to £500m. This Quantity Surveying role will suit someone looking to manage their own workload, act as a key client contact, and collaborate closely with wider project teams to ensure successful delivery from inception through to completion.\n\nQuantity Surveyor Responsibilities:\n\nManage and deliver pre & post contract Quantity Surveying services\nPrepare cost plans, budgets, procurement strategies and tender documentation\nRun competitive tender processes and manage contractor appointments\nAdminister contracts, manage change control and report on project costs\nProvide clear, concise cost advice to clients, including value engineering\nPromote commercial awareness throughout project lifecycles\nAttend client and progress meetings and contribute to project strategiesRequirements:\n\nDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or related field\nIdeally MRICS or working towards chartership\nDemonstrable experience as a QS in a consultancy environment\nStrong background in cost planning, procurement, and post-contract services\nExperience working on complex projects within data centres, commercial, residential or sports sectors\nExcellent communication and client-facing skills\nStrong organisation and commercial acumenIn Return:\n\n£45,000 - £55,000 Per Annum\nCompany Share Scheme.\nHybrid Working.\n28 days holiday plus bank holidays (3 days to be taken between Christmas and New Year).\nFlexible holidays - you can purchase up to an additional 5 days.\nEmployee Bonus Scheme.\nDeath in Service benefit up to 6 times basic salary.\nPrivate Medical treatment\nSeason Ticket Loans.\nMaternity Pay and Paternity Pay.\nBicycle Purchase Scheme.\nDental Plan.\nHealth Screening.\nOccupational Health Facilities.\nGym Membership Loans.\nPrimary Annual Professional Subscription coveredIf you are a Quantity Surveyor considering your career opportunities, then please contact Dan McEvoy at Brandon James.\n\n(phone number removed)\n\nReference #DM20725\n\nQuantity Surveyor / Project Manager / Project Management / Employers Agent / Surveying / Construction / Building Surveyor / MRICS / MICOB / MAPM / FRICS / Contract Administration / Associate Director / Construction Consultancy
