Pay Rate: $30+ Per hour. (Gauged on experience)

 

Project Overview:

 

We are seeking experienced Rack Integration Technicians for a 1-2 month project(potentially longer) in Franklin, MA.

 

This role takes place in a highly structured manufacturing facility, where technicians will be assembling GenAI racks equipped with both liquid and air cooling solutions. The environment is fast-paced, process-driven, and requires strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Technicians must have prior experience working in Data Centers supporting network equipment, including but not limited to:

  • Servers
  • Cabling & labeling
  • Rack/stack installation
  • Understanding of Data Center components

Scope of Work:

  • Equipment will be powered off and prepared for consolidation by the customer.
  • Peak engineers will de-install and re-install customer equipment within existing racks, transitioning from an8-rack to a6-rackconfiguration.
  • Cables will be reconnected in a like-for-like fashion, with new labels applied as needed, following customer-supplied diagrams.
  • Equipment will be powered on, assuming power supply and connections are ready at the time of installation.
  • Any fault light indicators will be reported to the customer.

Manufacturing Environment Expectations:

  • This is a structured, process-driven facility, requiring adherence to manufacturing protocols, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
  • Technicians must be comfortable working in an industrial setting, handling precision equipment and following standardized procedures.
  • Attention to detail and team collaboration are essential to ensure smooth operations and maintain production efficiency.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Beyond rack integration, technicians will also be responsible for essential manufacturing support tasks, including:

  • De-Trashing & Waste Management: Proper disposal of packaging materials, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Unboxing & Inventory Handling: Carefully unpacking and inspecting components, verifying inventory accuracy, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Staging & Preparation: Organizing equipment and materials for efficient workflow, ensuring all necessary components are readily available.
  • Quality Control & Documentation: Following detailed checklists to ensure proper installation, labeling, and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Safety & PPE Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • No special tools are required—just proper PPE.
  • This is a team-oriented project, requiring collaboration and efficiency.
