Radiology Implementation Analyst – PACS Administrator
My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new one to two year plus full remote Radiology Implementation Analyst – PACS Administrator opportunity available for a major firm located in Saint Louis, Missouri that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below. The ideal candidate can be located in either EST, CST, MST or PST time zones. The work week will be forty hours.
The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship. No Visa entanglements and no H1-B holding company submittals.
Scope:
This project will standardize and rationalize the radiology and cardiology clinical imaging platforms across the firms markets. These health ministries (hospitals) have standalone PACS of cardiology and radiology currently, this project will standardize & rationalize these on the IBM Watson health imaging suite of applications (MERGE PACS on the cardiology side & MERGE PACS on the radiology side), will be hosting the archives on the IBM Data Centers. Calling this a hybrid Cloud Implementation. The firm will be leveraging IBM’s cloud to store a portion of the images but will also have On Premises business continuity business hardware that will be deployed in each market, so in the event there’s some kind of a failure from hosted environments there is backup.
This position is fully remote however there is 25-35% travel within the CST and EST markets. The ideal candidate will be traveling to go live sites for the firms hospitals and will be traveling every two months and sometimes every other month, this just depends on the go live dates which aren't set yet. Traveling expenses will be paid for including up to eight hours of travel time. Food expenses will also be covered during traveling at a cap of $70.00 per day (Excluding liquor & airline upgrades). Reasonable accommodations will also be expensed when traveling to a GoLive site.
Qualifications:
Must Have: Must have 2 years of experience working with MergePACS or Change Healthcare.
Must Have: 5+ years of experience as a PACS Admin or Implementation Analyst focused on Radiology Implementations
Must Have: Creating worklists and GoLive with strong PACS experience. The ideal candidate will be working on Biomed where they will update modality work lists (MWL.
Must Have: Very strong troubleshooting skills. Someone that has migrated 1000s of modalities would be great but not a must.
Must Have: Strong understanding with configuring modalities machines for where hospitals will store and query information.
Must Have: Prefer candidates where there might be an affiliated hospital closest to their state, ideally the firm prefers the ideal candidate to be in either the EST, MST or CST time zones only but the firm is open to PST for a stellar candidate.
Nice to Have: Experience with ServiceNow a plus but not required
Nice to Have: Hanging protocols and understanding how migrations work
Nice to Have: Experience with Change Healthcare
Two critical areas of experience that will be discussed with each candidate:
Practical and recent experience with MERGE PACS hanging protocols for Radiology.
Creating worklists and GoLive with strong PACS experience.
Very strong troubleshooting skills.
Having migrated 1000s of modalities that would be strong plus.
Strong understanding with configuring modalities machines for where hospitals will store and query information.
This position will be paying $60.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis.
