Real Estate Associate

Location: Washington, DC

Direct Counsel represents a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a Midlevel Real Estate Associate to join its dynamic Real Estate practice in Washington, DC.

Compensation: $250,000 – $280,000 DOE

Key Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years of real estate transactional and development experience
  • Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements
  • Experience with real estate development documentation, due diligence, title and survey review
  • Lender-side real estate finance experience required
  • Experience with joint ventures, leasing, multifamily, condominium, planned community, manufacturing, or economic incentives is a plus
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and client-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • J.D. and active bar admission required
