Regional Marketing Manager (Indian market), Amazon Ads

We are hiring a Regional Marketing Manager who dares to Invent and Simplify and Think big! He/She will be responsible for building regional marketing infrastructure from scratch in a start-up like environment for Amazon Advertising in Asia, with focuses in the India market. Therefore, India market and cultural understanding is required to effectively engage with local customers and partners.

We have developed products that leverage Amazon’s strength as a world class eCommerce platform and have integrated advertising into the shopping experience from first discovery to purchase. A strategic part of our charter is to build a portfolio of self-service advertising products to enable both large and small advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. The mission of our growing team in Asia is to drive awareness, engagement and product adoption for Asia-based sellers。

Seeing the potential, we are expanding the team and looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to build a strong regional marketing engine with a major focus on event marketing and stakeholder collaboration. This role will develop and execute high-velocity seller engagement events, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and create multi-channel awareness programs to drive adoption of Amazon ad products.

The scope includes end-to-end strategy and execution - planning event roadmaps, driving seller participation, developing content and communication plans, and building digital campaigns to amplify reach and impact. The primary focus will be India and other priority export markets.

This is a high-visibility role that works across teams such as Global Selling, Product, Creative, and PR to build scalable, repeatable engagement platforms for sellers. With the team growing rapidly, this is an exciting opportunity to shape how we engage, educate, and activate sellers across the region.

Key job responsibilities
Build a scalable regional event marketing infrastructure, including signature event formats, seller engagement series, community programs, and on-ground activations tailored for exporters.

Design and execute high-velocity seller events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person) to drive awareness, education, and adoption of Amazon Ads products across priority markets.

Develop structured working models with internal stakeholders (Global Selling, Product, PR, Creative Teams) to co-plan, co-host, and amplify event-led marketing initiatives.

Own event and marketing communication end-to-end - covering planning, content development, promotions, registration flows, reminders, follow-ups, post-event education, and conversion tracking.

Manage SPN (Service Provider Network) relationships and collaborate with top SPNs to co-host community events, meetups, and category-focused workshops for exporters.

Establish partner-led seller engagement programs by integrating SPNs and regional enablers into a repeatable event ecosystem.

Maintain the regional event and communication calendar, ensuring structured planning and alignment across teams.

Run experimentation across events - testing formats, content, channels, and messaging to continuously improve attendance, engagement, and advertiser activation.

Monitor and optimise key event metrics including registrations, attendance %, engagement scores, advertiser sign-ups, and post-event adoption.

Measure performance, publish insights, and refine the regional event strategy based on data, seller cohorts, and marketplace needs.
