As part of a major investment in next- AI capabilities, the company is building a portfolio of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects across Texas. These initiatives are designed to support high-performance computing, advanced analytics, and real-world AI applications.

Position Summary
The General Manager will own the full lifecycle of a data center construction portfolio, leading execution across multiple large-scale programs while building and scaling a high-performing construction organization.
This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, operational discipline, and hands-on execution experience across complex construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Leadership & Execution
- Lead end-to-end execution across multiple large-scale data center construction projects
- Ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and delivery objectives
- Drive consistency, accountability, and operational discipline across the portfolio
Team Leadership & Organizational Buildout
- Build, lead, and develop multidisciplinary teams, including project executives, engineers, and construction leaders
- Establish team structure, operating cadence, and performance expectations
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and execution excellence
Stakeholder & Executive Partnership
- Serve as the primary interface with executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Provide clear communication on project status, risks, and resource needs
- Align internal teams, contractors, and partners to drive successful delivery
Financial & Strategic Oversight
- Maintain ownership of portfolio-level financial performance and execution outcomes
- Support capital planning, budgeting, and commercial decision-making
- Contribute to long-term construction strategy and infrastructure expansion
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 15+ years of experience leading large-scale construction or infrastructure programs
- Proven track record delivering complex projects exceeding $1B in value
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across high-visibility projects
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive performance across complex environments
- Experience with hyperscale data center construction
- Background managing joint venture or multi-stakeholder projects
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure (power, cooling, hardware environments)
- Experience building or scaling construction organizations in high-growth settings
Location & Structure
- Remote (must be based in Dallas–Fort Worth or Houston, TX)
- Travel required based on project needs
- Contract role with potential for long-term conversion
