Position Overview

The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for building and leading a best-in-class safety program across a portfolio of large-scale, mission-critical construction projects.

This role provides both strategic oversight and field-level leadership—ensuring safety standards are consistently implemented, risks are proactively managed, and a culture of accountability is embedded across all project sites.

You will partner closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and field teams to drive safety performance across a complex, multi-site construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Program Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and enforce environmental health and safety (EHS) programs across multiple project sites
  • Establish scalable safety standards and processes to support a growing construction portfolio
  • Promote a culture of safety ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

Site Audits & Compliance

  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections across active construction sites
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate safety concerns

Incident Management & Investigation

  • Lead incident investigations, reporting, and resolution processes
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure lessons learned are communicated and applied across all sites

Safety Leadership & Advisory

  • Provide guidance to project teams on complex safety matters
  • Partner with field leadership and subcontractors to reinforce safe work practices
  • Support training initiatives and safety awareness programs

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
  • 10+ years of EHS experience in construction or heavy industrial environments
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards
  • Experience leading safety programs across multiple project sites

  • Experience supporting mission-critical or data center construction
  • Background in power, high-voltage systems, or industrial infrastructure
  • Experience scaling safety programs in high-growth environments
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach to safety performance

Location & Structure

  • Remote, with preference for Dallas–Fort Worth or Houston, TX
  • Regular travel is required across project sites
  • Contract role with potential for long-term conversion
