Rigid Conduit Installer - 25-35/hr+ DOE

We are currently hiring Electricians with 3+ years of experience performing Rigid Conduit installation in Data Center settings. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Richmond VA area.

Job Requirements:

• Install rigid (RMC/EMT/IMC as required) conduit systems for power and low-voltage pathways in data center environments.
• Accurately bend and thread conduit using manual and powered equipment; fabricate fittings and assemblies on-site.
• Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, shop drawings, and installation specs.
• Layout conduit runs, supports, hangers, and raceways to meet code and pathway clearance requirements.
• Make precise measurements, cut conduit, thread ends, join fittings, and seal penetrations as required.
• Coordinate with project managers, electricians, low-voltage teams, and site trades to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas; follow OSHA and site-specific safety protocols (PPE, lockout/tagout, hot work permits when applicable).
• Document work performed, report issues, and maintain tool/equipment accountability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years hands-on experience installing rigid conduit in commercial/industrial or data center projects.
• Proficient in bending and threading rigid conduit (RMC/IMC/EMT) and using conduit benders, cutters, threading machines, levels, and lasers.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, isometric drawings, and pathway layouts.
• Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical code requirements for conduit and raceways.
• Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, and around heavy equipment.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Richmond region.
• OSHA 10 () or willingness to obtain; other certifications (e.g., NCCER, Journeyman/Apprentice) a plus.
• Able to pass drug screening and background check.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders/scaffolding
• Manual dexterity for precise bending/threading and assembly.

Compensation:

• Competitive starting pay $25 -$35/hr or depending on experience
