Safety Coordinator

A safety officer is responsible for ensuring that the workplace is safe and healthy for its employees.

Responsibilities:

· Ensures that employees follow safety regulations through site walks

· Will conduct on-site training on safety procedures as well as tool certification

· Ensures that HACI safety programs are working effectively and efficiently

· Ensures that HACI is compliant with OSHA standards

· Investigate incidents and report on safety issues

· Conduct HACI new hire safety training

· May be required to attend job specific meetings and learning sessions to represent HACI

Job requirements

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs

· Will require the ability to walk and climb steps for an extended periods of time in summer heat

· 5+ years construction experience (Safety or Safety related experience)

· Valid driver’s license with clear driving record

· Basic MS Office experience

· Bilingual required (English/Spanish speak, read and write)
