Role Description The Safety Coordinator (Electrical LOTO Commissioning Startup) is a full-time, on-site role based in West Texas. This role is responsible for supporting safe commissioning and startup activities with a strong focus on electrical lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and compliance.. The Safety Coordinator will perform regular hazard assessments, participate in pre-job planning and job safety analyses, and verify proper execution of LOTO procedures during electrical work and commissioning. Additional responsibilities include incident and near-miss reporting, assisting with accident investigations, maintaining safety documentation and permits, and collaborating with project management, supervision, and craft teams to promote a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices applicable to industrial construction and energy infrastructure projects.

\n

• Knowledge of Occupational Health principles, including hazard recognition, exposure control, and regulatory compliance.

\n

• Experience delivering effective Safety Training, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for diverse field teams.

\n

• Proficiency in Accident Investigation, incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action development.

\n

• Hands-on experience with electrical safety, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, commissioning and startup activities, and coordination with electrical and instrumentation teams.

\n

• Extensive knowledge with OSHA standards, relevant industry codes, and company safety management systems.

\n

• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey safety expectations and write concise reports.

\n

• Ability to work on-site in West Texas, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain a visible presence in the field.

\n

• Prior experience in oil & gas, pipeline, power, or heavy industrial construction, data center construction environments is .
