EH&S Coordinator I

Location: Denver/Aurora, CO area

Compensation: $25–$34/hr W2

6-Month Contract-to-Hire with medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD and PTO during the contract period!

Innovar Group is supporting an EH&S Coordinator I opening within active commercial, industrial, and mission-critical construction environments in the Denver/Aurora, Colorado area. This role supports daily field safety activities across active construction projects and works closely with site leadership to promote safe work practices and maintain OSHA compliance across dynamic job sites.

Position Overview

The EH&S Coordinator I is an entry-to-junior level safety role ideal for candidates looking to continue building hands-on experience within construction and industrial safety environments. This position supports site safety initiatives, field observations, training coordination, and compliance activities while gaining exposure to active infrastructure and data center project environments.

Responsibilities

• Support daily site safety activities and field observations
• Assist with safety audits, inspections, and documentation
• Participate in toolbox talks, orientations, and safety meetings
• Help track incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
• Promote safe work practices across crews and subcontractors
• Assist with OSHA compliance initiatives and reporting
• Maintain safety documentation and site records
• Support project leadership with general safety coordination efforts

Qualifications

• 1+ year of safety experience within construction, industrial, or related environments
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to work in active field environments
• Ability to learn and grow within fast-paced construction settings
• Construction industry experience
