Construction Safety Manager
Location: Fayetteville, GA
Duration: 1 Month (Start: 05/4/2026)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Job Details

• Hourly Rate: $49/HR

• Per Diem: No perdiem

• Pay: Weekly

• Schedule: M-F | 0700 - 1700 | 40-50 hrs/week

Project Scope

The construction safety manager will oversee safety for a contractor installing dock equipment and overhead doors at the new build of a QTS data center

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• OSHA 30

• 5 years of consturction safety

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct project safety inspections and new hire orientations

• Deliver site-specific safety training

• Monitor on-site personnel and enforce safety standards

• Manage safety documentation and contractor correspondence

• Execute additional EHS duties as needed

• Has own laptop/tablet and 3 LOTO Tags

Skills & Knowledge

Skills:

• Strong communication and public speaking skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Effective organizational and multitasking capabilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• OSHA outreach training experience ()

• Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information

Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of EHS and construction industry regulations

• Ability to clearly communicate safety protocols and regulatory compliance
