Position Overview
The Safety Manager will be based in Atlanta, supporting projects throughout the region. Project locations may vary and can include Atlanta or other cities, so candidates must be open to travel.
This role focuses primarily on new construction environments, working closely with project teams, superintendents, and general contractors to ensure compliance, proactive risk mitigation, and a strong on-site safety culture.
Key Responsibilities

Implement and enforce company safety policies across active job sites

Conduct job site safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and GC safety requirements

Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and site-specific training

Investigate incidents, near-misses, and safety concerns; prepare reports and corrective action plans

Serve as the primary safety point of contact with GCs and project stakeholders

Support project teams in developing site-specific safety plans

Track safety metrics and continuously improve safety performance

Travel to project sites as needed (per diem, lodging, and rental car provided)
Qualifications
-
OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 required
-
CHST certification highly
-
3+ years of construction safety experience (commercial or industrial )

Experience supporting new construction projects

Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and job site safety best practices

Comfortable working in active construction environments and at heights

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with field teams

Willingness to travel as project needs dictate
