At HazTek, safety isn’t just a priority, it’s a core value. We’re looking for a hands-on Safety Manager to support mission-critical data center projects, someone who can lead from the field, influence teams, and help drive a strong, proactive safety culture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead on-site safety efforts across fast-paced data center construction projects
  • Ensure OSHA and client safety standards are consistently met
  • Conduct daily site walks, audits, and safety meetings to identify and mitigate risk
  • Partner with project teams and subcontractors to drive accountability and alignment
  • Investigate incidents and implement practical, preventative solutions
  • Support high-risk scopes including energized work, LOTO, fall protection, rigging, and excavation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in data center or mission-critical construction (or similar environments)
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA and complex, multi-trade job sites
  • A field-first leader who communicates well and builds trust across teams
  • Comfortable engaging both craft labor and project leadership

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required
  • Degree in a safety related field
  • OSHA 510 and or 500 a plus
  • CHST or CSP
  • Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
