Role Description

Safety Specialist -Multiple sites contract from California to Texas, 12 month construction of several Data Center/ logistics center,

• Civil work associated with a datacenter project
• Floats between client office in Austin and project sites from California to Texas
• Must be very polished
• 12 month minimum duration
• Full-time
• Minimum 10 years experience
• If they have a degree, 7 years is acceptable
• CSP, CHST is strongly

This is a 1099 contract (no per diem)
The ideal candidate would act as the Owner Representative on a full-time basis for a hi-tech client.

• The project duration is 12-month with the possibility of renewal.
• Required Qualifications:
• • 7+ years of datacenter specific construction safety experience
  • • 10+ years of construction safety experience (if they do not meet the above)
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and external contractors and vendors.
  • Experience as an owner representative.
  • Outstanding collaboration, project management, communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills up and down stream.
  • Fundamental knowledge of data center and mission critical construction process both new build construction and operations. With knowledge of regional and local codes of practice and regulatory requirements (i.e. 1910, 1926, NFPA 70E, OSHA, ISO or local equivalent).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (or the like) tools and ability to navigate different information management platforms
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or local (s).

Strongly Desired Qualifications:

• • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety.
  • Industry Certification (CSP, CHST, etc.).
